YouTube2Transcript does not require advertising cookies. Google Analytics is disabled until you choose Allow analytics. If enabled, Google Analytics may set first-party cookies such as _ga and _ga_<container-id> to distinguish users and sessions. Google states that these cookies expire after up to two years by default, although browser limits or our Analytics settings may shorten that period. You can decline or withdraw consent at any time using the Cookie settings control, and withdrawal removes the Google Analytics cookies visible to this site.
The visible advertising areas on the site are currently empty placeholders. Google AdSense or another advertising service is not active. We will update this policy before enabling advertising technology that changes our data practices.

The application does not maintain a user, submitted-link, or transcript database. In-memory rate-limit records normally last no longer than the one-minute rate window. Hosting security and diagnostic logs, and consented Google Analytics data, are retained according to the applicable provider settings and policies. We keep information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above.
Our users and service providers may be located in different countries. Information may therefore be processed outside your country. Where required, service providers use safeguards for international transfers under applicable law.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection concerning personal information, and to withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. Because we do not create user accounts or intentionally store transcript requests, we may hold little or no information that can be linked back to you.

The service is not directed to children under 13, or under the minimum age required in their country to use an online service independently. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided personal information may contact us.
